LFCC’s professionally staffed tennis facility features Har-Tru clay tennis courts available for day and late evening play. The facility offers a covered canopy viewing area perfect for catching all the action on the courts as well as relaxing with friends and opponents after a lively match. USTPA certified instructors are available for private and group lessons or use the new tennis ball machine for a one on one workout. Separate restroom facilities and snack bar are adjacent to the courts. Enjoy a bite to eat and a refreshing drink in the 19th Hole located at the Clubhouse after your match.

Tennis Professional Bio: CLAY SHULHAFER
     Clay comes to Lake Forest from Louisville Country Club where he was an assistant last summer and Louisville Tennis Club, where he has taught the last 6 years in the winter. Clay is a Louisville native, who graduated from Saint Xavier High School and attended Miami (OH) University. He was an Assistant Coach at Saint Xavier from 1999-2002 winning four State Championships, and has coached many highly ranked junior players. Clay was recently married to Jennifer Weber in October of 2005.

Clay's Comments
     “I am very happy to be here at Lake Forest Country Club, and I am looking forward to meeting each and every member down at the tennis courts. We have a lot of exciting events planned for the summer, and I am counting down the days until warm weather is finally here. We will have clinics available for any age or ability, as my staff and I are committed to making this summer the best ever at Lake Forest Country Club.”
